The Two-Tank HydroSplit™ Fountain

  • No filters, no subscriptions, ever
  • Reduces the risk of kidney disease & UTIs
  • Pumped from a sealed clean tank, used water drains away for good
  • Whisper-quiet & easy to clean
How does HydroPurr keep the water clean without a filter?

Our HydroSplit™ design uses two sealed tanks, so nothing ever gets recycled. Clean water sits in a sealed 2.6L (88oz) reservoir, and a built-in pump that only ever touches clean water sends a fresh pour (about 50ml / 1.7oz) to the stainless-steel tray on a schedule you set. Used water then drains away by gravity into a separate tank, carrying fur, saliva and crumbs with it, so it never loops back to your cat.

Clean tank Pumped up Gravity drain
No recirculation means no biofilm, no slime, and no filter to buy. Ever.
What if my cat is picky about new bowls?

Running water is a natural draw, plenty of cats are drinking the first night. Picky drinkers usually just need an overlap period: leave the old bowl down, let HydroPurr run nearby, and let her make the switch on her own schedule (for most cats, within the week). Once she's chosen the fountain, retire the bowl. The low, wide steel tray helps too, nothing pressing on whiskers. And if she never comes around, the 60-Day Happy Cat Guarantee makes it our problem, not yours.

How often do I refill, clean, and charge it?

Barely any upkeep, and never a filter to reorder. Refill the clean tank about every 10 days for one cat (around every 5 for two), and empty the waste tank when it's full. To clean, just take it apart, wipe with water, and air-dry. The rechargeable battery runs cordless for about two weeks per charge and tops up with the included USB-C cable.

Refill

~10 days for one cat, ~5 for two.

Clean

Take apart, wipe, air-dry. Key parts are dishwasher safe.

Charge

USB-C, ~2 weeks per charge.

What materials touch the water?

Every surface the water touches is food-safe. The drinking tray is 304 food-grade stainless steel, the same grade used for kitchenware, while the body and tank are BPA-free plastic and the internal tubing is food-grade silicone. Stainless also won't harbor bacteria the way plastic bowls can, which helps avoid the chin irritation some cats get from plastic.

304 Steel Tray

Food-grade, the bit your cat touches.

BPA-Free Body

Main body & clean-water tank.

Silicone Tubing

Food-grade, inside the water path.

How does the 60-Day Happy Cat Guarantee work?

You get two full months to run HydroPurr at home. If it isn't working out, for her or for you, one email to our team gets you a complete refund. No restocking fees, no runaround. And manufacturing faults are on us for a full year after that.

60DAYS

Two months to decide, at home. A complete refund if it isn’t working out, and a 1-year warranty against faults.

How fast will my order ship?

Worldwide shipping, fully tracked. Orders are processed within 24 hours, and most arrive within 5 to 12 business days depending on your location. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment yours ships, and shipping is calculated at checkout.

Your Cat's Fountain Is a Hot Tub With No Drain, and She Drinks From It All Day.

Take the shell off any fountain in the pet aisle and you'll find the same machine: a bowl of standing water and a little motor stirring it. Nothing ever leaves. The spit, the fur, the crumbs off her chin, it just sits in the gunk, growing bacteria.

You scrub it Sunday; the film is back by Wednesday. That's because you cleaned the part you can see, the colony lives in the seams and inside the pump housing you can't open. And carbon filters pull out chlorine, not bacteria: the filter is just the subscription on top.

HydroPurr is built like plumbing instead

A sealed clean tank her tongue never touches. Every used drop drains into a separate waste tank, one way, gone. Open it after a week and see for yourself.

HydroSplit™
Two Sealed Tanks.
Zero Recycling.

Fill the sealed clean tank
1

Fill the sealed clean tank

Top up the sealed reservoir with fresh water. Walled off from the bowl, it stays untouched and clean until the moment your cat drinks.

Fresh water flows to the bowl
2

Fresh water flows to the bowl

On a schedule you set, a built-in pump that only ever touches clean water sends a fresh pour (around 50ml) up to the stainless-steel tray. No filter to pass through, so nothing dirties it on the way.

Used water leaves for good
3

Used water leaves for good

Used water drains away by gravity into a separate sealed tank, carrying the fur, saliva and crumbs with it. That one-way drop is exactly why the pump only ever meets clean water, and why your cat is never drinking yesterday's water.

The gunk needs standing, looping water to grow in. Here every used drop drains away before it can.

Cordless or Plugged In

Run it cordless on the rechargeable battery, or plug it in with the USB-C cable. Your choice, your placement.

Silent Between Sips

It pours for a few seconds, then goes completely still. No motor droning around the clock.

Lift the top, give it a quick rinse, done. Key parts are dishwasher-safe.

Stainless-Steel Bowl

A hygienic steel tray that won't scratch, stain, or cause chin acne.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Give it a few days. The usual pattern is curiosity on day one and regular drinking by day two or three, cats notice moving fresh water fast. Keep the old bowl down at first so there is no pressure, then take it away once you see her using the fountain. And if she never comes around, the 60-day guarantee has you covered: return it for a full refund.

  • One-tank fountains cycle the bowl water round and round through a pump sitting in it, so everything your cat leaves behind rides along, and that is where the slime comes from. Tenace HydroPurr keeps two sealed tanks: fresh water pours onto the steel tray, and what is left drains into a separate waste tank, one way only. Used water never returns to the pump, so the pump stays clean and every drink comes from the untouched fresh side.

  • Filters exist to fight a problem this design does not have. When the same water keeps looping, a carbon cartridge is added to mask what builds up, and you are expected to keep buying new ones, which can add up to $60–$120 a year. Tenace HydroPurr never re-uses water, so there is nothing to mask. The only maintenance part is a rinsable hair screen, and it is included forever. Filter cost: $0.

  • Into its own sealed tank, through a one-way drain. It cannot flow back, and your cat cannot reach it. On rinse day you just tip it out. You can watch it collect through the tank wall, which is oddly satisfying, that is the gunk that used to hide inside your old fountain's pump.

  • No. There is no motor running around the clock, which is where the hum of an ordinary fountain comes from. Tenace HydroPurr wakes up for a few seconds to pour fresh water, then it is completely quiet again. Light sleepers keep it in the bedroom.

  • A weekly rinse. The steel tray goes in the sink or dishwasher, the waste tank gets tipped out, the hair screen gets a rinse, and you are done in a few minutes. There is no motor to pull apart and no cartridge schedule to remember. Refills are just as lazy: the 3L tank runs about 10–13 days for one cat and 4–7 days for a busy multi-cat home.

  • Only the drinking tray, and it is 304 food-grade stainless steel, which matters if your cat is prone to chin acne. The fresh-water reservoir is BPA-free and stays sealed right up to the moment water is poured, so it never sits in open plastic.

  • That depends on your floor plan as much as the head count. One unit comfortably serves one or two cats. With three or more, or cats that live on different floors, a second unit usually pays off, both because the tank empties faster and because plenty of cats prefer not to queue at a shared water source.

  • No, there is no cord at all. The rechargeable battery runs up to 15 days and pops out to charge, so the fountain itself never has to move. That means it can live where your cat actually spends time, not where the wall socket happens to be.

  • You get 60 days from delivery to decide, and cat approval counts as part of the deal. If she will not drink from it, or you simply do not love it, write to the team and you get a full refund, no restocking fee, no interrogation. The fountain itself carries a 1-year warranty on top.

Works flawlessly. It pours fresh water on the schedule I set, so the tray is always topped up and clean, my cat checks it constantly.

Chris B. Verified

The two-tank design is genius. The first time I emptied the wastewater side I couldn't believe how much gunk had collected.

Olivia P. Verified

She used to splash water everywhere with a normal bowl. This has cut the mess way down and she seems to drink more now.

Amanda R. Verified

I had my doubts, but my cat took to it immediately. I love that the clean water stays separate, my old fountain got gross within days. Setup was easy too.

Lauren D. Verified

Milo is fussy about water and normally goes for the sink. Since this fountain arrived I catch him drinking from it several times a day.

Daniel H. Verified

Solid product. The battery's held up well and it's great not having another cord across the floor.

Nicole T. Verified

Love it. Being able to see the dirty water collect separately is what sold me, I feel a lot better about what my cat's drinking.

Patrick W. Verified

The reservoir is a good size. We went away for a weekend and there was still plenty of water when we got home.

Jessica F. Verified

I never realized how dirty normal fountains get until I switched. Seeing the wastewater kept separate makes a real difference.

Megan L. Verified

Our senior cat doesn't always drink enough, but since we switched she's been drinking noticeably more.

Brandon E. Verified

Great quality, feels sturdy and well built next to the cheaper fountains I've tried before.

Sarah V. Verified

Love that it works plugged in or cordless. I started in the kitchen and moved it to another room with zero hassle.

Rachel Y. Verified

Really practical design. Cleaning takes a fraction of the time my old fountain did.

Kevin M. Verified

Had it set up in ten minutes and my cat was drinking from it that same night. No complaints.

Hannah B. Verified

The water genuinely stays clear between refills. My old one grew a film on top within two days.

Marcus T. Verified

No filter to keep buying, and it already feels like it's paying for itself.

Emily R. Verified

So quiet I forget it's even on. My last fountain hummed annoyingly all day.

Greg D. Verified

Emptying the waste tank is oddly satisfying and a bit gross, you really see what your cat's no longer drinking.

Sophia L. Verified

Both my cats warmed to it faster than I expected, usually one of them is wary of anything new.

Tom H. Verified

The battery lasted far longer than I expected before needing a charge. Nice not having a cord near the water.

Natalie P. Verified

Cleaning is so much easier with no filter or pump to dismantle. A quick rinse and you're done.

Ryan K. Verified

Set the dispense schedule once and forget it, fresh water shows up like clockwork and I refill far less than with my old fountain.

Chloe W. Verified

My vet kept pushing me to get my cat drinking more, and this has honestly helped.

Derek S. Verified

The stainless bowl is a great touch. My old plastic one always felt slimy no matter how often I cleaned it.

Ashley N. Verified

I worried it'd be loud or fussy. It's neither, it just works, and the water looks clean.
